Well, it's a new year! I didn't write every single day in this blog last year and I obviously won't this year since it is already the third day of the year and I hadn't wrote anything until today.  Its been since before Christmas that I blogged even because I suck, there have been lots of days that I planned to but then didn't.  So in this blog I am going to write about my few days with Brendan and New Years Eve with him, but I will also just bullet a few other things about Christmas and such.

• On the 20th I went to my step-dad's family Christmas
• On the 21st I went to my dad's family Christmas

I say quite a few people that I don't see very often at both of these, and I got quite a few things at both of those.

•  I went home on Christmas Eve after working until 7:30
• Woke up Christmas morning and opened presents with my mom and step-dad
• I got a new jacket from Forever21, new TOMS boots, a new Christmas ornament, along with lots of candy, some bathroom stuff, and a few other things from them.
• We went to my aunt's house for mom's family Christmas later that day which was fun.  I don't get to see them very often either.  I also found out when my cousin is getting married this year which is exciting.  We also played Trivia Crack as a family which was hilarious.
• I got to see Chad again on the 26th! I missed my best friend a ton, which is never a surprise and we had a lot of fun just having a late lunch/early dinner at the Chinese restaurant which us having fun talking and spending time together is also never a surprise. 

Anyway, on Monday I went to spend four days with Brendan.  It was lovely to be able to see him again because I hadn't seen him since we got out of school.  I went up there after I got off of work at 1:30 and made it there to see him by 4 or so.  We went to dinner at Farotto's for dinner that night with him mom and grandma around six and that was all that we did besides watched a little bit of Netflix.

Then on Tuesday we woke up and had breakfast, then just watched some Netflix before having my leftover chicken alfredo with mushrooms from the night before for lunch.  After that we ended up going to Ted Drewe's which was fantastic.  I had something called The Giant Pumpkin and it was vanilla custard with a piece of pumpkin pie mixed in (crust and all) and whipped cream on top, it was fantastic and he had an Oreo concrete! After that Brendan and I went bowling which was fun because I don't think that I have been bowling since I was like a sophomore in high school which was like five years ago and that is a little bit insane! I beat him on our first game but then he ended up beating me the next two games.  After that we went back to his house for a while before going to The Trainwreck for dinner.  I should have ordered a bison burger but instead just got a regular one and it was good still so I'm not going to complain.

Wednesday we didn't really do anything until around four-thirty when we left to go over to Brendan's dad's house.  I had taken a short little nap before that because I knew otherwise I was not going to make it to midnight and that was not acceptable on New Year's Eve! Anyway we went over there and put our stuff in the room for the night because his step mom wasn't home yet and then we just watched some TV and sat in the living room with his dad and little brother Gus.  Pretty soon Kelly came home and made her little appetizer before we left for Brendan's aunt's house which was where we were going to have the New Year's Eve party.

It has been since Good Friday since I saw any of Brendan's dad side of the family.  I really love all his family both his mom and grandma and all of his dad's side of the family.  It was good though because it was nice to see them all and they said it was nice to see me again as well and gave hugs and talked.  I feel right at home with his family and they make me smile and I can laugh and talk without feeling awkward around any of them.  Anyway the night consisted of eating and laughing and playing games and it was just lots of fun to spend time with them for New Year's Eve because if I had been at home I wouldn't have been doing anything.  I ate way too much that that is okay because it was a good time and all the food was delicious especially the crescent roll crab ragoon that Kelly made, mmmmm! IT was the best New Year's Eve that I have had in a LONG time!

We got back home around one and then Brendan and I fell asleep around one-thirty finally.  I woke up at nine and didn't get him to wake up until almost ten.  We laid in bed for a few minutes before getting up and then sitting in the living room.  Kelly made pecan cinnamon roll pancakes for breakfast (even though it was almost eleven) and they were delicious with a cream cheese frosting.  After that we went back to Brendan's house and I left at almost four.

I stopped at my mom's house instead of driving all the way back home and then decided to get up and go home the next day for work.  It is always nice to be able to stay there sometimes.

Now today I worked and then I have come home and all I have done is watch Law and Order: SVU with Sara.  I think that I am going to have cereal for dinner because I am crazy and don't want to cook and it just sounds good.

School starts in nine days and I am ready to see people but not ready to get back into classes but that's okay.  Anyway, it is quote time...

I am sorry I have been neglecting you blog, I'm horrible.  Anyway, it has been almost a month since I last wrote and because of that I am just going to talk about the few things that I can think of. 

On the ninth of December I spent some time with Hannah.  We were going to hang out earlier but she didn't wake up until later.  It wasn't that much of a deal though because I honestly had nothing to do that day.  It was nice to spend time with her before school ended.  We even watched Alice in Wonderland after we got home. 

Anyway, after that I don't think there was much that I can think of that happened other than Brendan and I exchanged gifts between each of us.  It was really cute he got me the Doctor Who K-9 slippers that I wanted and also a waffle maker and Brendan liked his three gifts that I got him (well I made one of them).  Then last Friday after we had both finished all of our finals (which by the way I got an A on all of them and kept my A's in all of my classes!)  we went on our own date before he went home for the break.

We went on a date to Ingredient and had some spectacular burgers.  I had one with avocado, pepper jack and provolone cheeses, bacon, and mayo on it and it was the best burger I have had in a while.  Brendan got one with bacon, onions, mayo,  guacamole, cheddar and Swiss cheese and his was pretty good too! Then after that we went to the Magic Tree.  It was probably one of the best gifts that we have had in a long time and I was really excited to be able to do so.  I am already missing him now, but it will be okay I know that because I am going to get to go see him on New Year's Eve.  I haven't spent time with people for a while and I am pretty excited to get to do so. 

Anyway, today I worked this morning and then I went to Walmart just so that I could get the last few gifts that I needed to for Christmas.  Sara and I watched Grey's Anatomy and Modern Family tonight.  This weekend I have two different Christmas parties with family to go to so that will be fun but I have to get through two more days of work on Wednesday and Thursday before then.  I'll make it.  I can't wait to go home on Friday though!

I have had a busy couple of days since I last posted nine days ago or so.  Not really anything specific that I have been busy with I just feel like I have been busy.  One of the people I work with is quitting and he is the one who usually opens on the weekends and since he is leaving and I am one of the only ones who was ever trained to open so that is what I get to do on the weekend.  I actually really don't mind it seeing as I used to work 6-2 shifts when I still worked at Hardees so mornings really don't bother me even when I stay up later.

Anyway, it was also supposed to snow this last weekend, but that did not happen at all we had snow flurries both yesterday and today but no accumulation so that's fun it has just been unreasonably cold and I am not appreciating it.  I know I shouldn't be complaining about it already because it is only going to get worse but oh well.  I will survive I guess I just do not like cold weather it is a close second in my least favorite weather only because it is easier to cover up than take off enough layers like in the summer when it is hot as heck!

On Friday Brendan and I went on a date like we usually do.  Since my hours have been cut lately though which sucks he was a sweetheart and paid for it all because he has moneys and I don't.  We went to The Mud Room and painted again which is always really fun.  I got to paint a cute little owl mug which I can not wait to see on Wednesday when we go to pick them up.  He just went crazy with a mug.  Then we went to... wait for it because this is going to sound like a weird date restaurant... Hooters for dinner.  I know it sounds crazy but I have really wanted wings and I wanted to go there and try them and even while that place can be very derogatory against women they still have some spectacular food and I can't deny that.  I was seriously one of the like four women who was there eating, it was kind of strange but again I say the food was really good and its whatever.  It isn't somewhere that I would want to go all the time but it was a nice change from just like sit down in a booth and have a semi-fancier meal.  I am not going to complain about it, it wasn't like we went to a strip club or something.

Anyway this week I only worked tonight and I don't work again until Saturday which is really weird and then it's Thanksgiving Break.  This is insane because after this week we only have one more week of classes and then we have finals! I don't know how this whole semester when so fast! I have a paper due this Friday and I really need to finish the book before I can start on it, maybe I should get on that.  Also today I received my first Love With Food box, I was so excited about it.  Seriously this is one of the most awesome things ever around eight snacks that I get to try every single month and on box equal one meal to someone who is hungry in America.

I am trying to get this month started early.  I know it is already eight days into the month, but I never actually get myself together.  I am going to get it together hopefully maybe this blog won't get it together but I am getting it back together with my life.  I am back on track to lose weight this week again which is a great thing!

I am now actually down 13.4 pounds and I am super excited about that.  I am getting closer and closer to my goal and that is an absolutely awesome feeling! I have made three different healthy recipes this week and two of them have been super awesome and I am glad to keep finding more and more recipes that I really like that are good for me.

Anyway, nothing else really has happened that I know of majorly.  I have been really really busy with school stuff.  I had four tests and an annotated bibliography due this week and all before Thursday which was all really crazy.  What is really awesome though is I already got all of those grades back and none of them were too bad! 

Social Psychology: 86%
Health Psychology: 91%
Developmental Psychology: 89%
Sociology: 90%

I am so pleased by all of these scores.  It is really awesome because I felt so stressed for most of this week.  Now I have to hope that I did well on my annotated bibliography but it is going to be a little while before I learn about it.  All I am still shooting for though is to continue this streak of having A's in all of my classes which I have right now.

Then finally on Friday I got to catch a break.  Brendan and I went out to eat at Ruby Tuesdays and then we just went and got the stuff for food today.  I work tomorrow and I have to take pictures for one of my photography assignments and then I am back to class on Monday.

I figured I needed to have at least one more post on my blog for this month because I know that I am slacking behind.  Actually, I'll be honest... I need to go to bed because I have to get up at six in the morning to sign up for my spring classes, but I just can't make myself go to sleep yet so I figured if I did this then I would be doing something slightly productive (not really) and I wouldn't feel as bad about not going to sleep. 

Anyway, I am just as busy as I always am with work and everything else.  This coming week though my hours got cut and this school week (Monday-Friday) I actually only work one day which is Thursday.  So you know like a normal person should you'd think that I would be taking that time to catch up on everything but NOPE... I decided that I was going to fill every single day with something to do. 

Tomorrow I am hanging out with Sara, I mean I will still be at my house, but still it isn't specifically catching up on things even though I will be working on a little bit of homework at that time.  Tuesday, I am going to see Gone Girl and going out to dinner with Hannah.  Wednesday, Brendan and I have a double pizza date with Brittani and Dakota which is awesome because I am really excited for them to meet, Thursday is work day, then Friday is Halloween! I have an hour long work meeting but then Brendan and I are going home to my house to hand out candy with my family.  I am really excited to go home, he wasn't so sure but I convinced him.  I mean I never get to go home and I always like to on Halloween because I like seeing all the kids dress up even though I never know any of them anymore which makes me feel really old. 

Also, since I asked off first I should be able to get my family Thanksgiving off as well which makes me excited because I didn't get to go last year because I hadn't been there very long and everyone else asked off before me.  That is why this year I made sure that I was the first to ask off so my boss said I will most likely get it! This being said I don't ask off for just Thanksgiving because we already get that off if you are thinking that, I have to ask off for the Saturday after because that is when we have our Thanksgiving dinner with my mom's family. 

Anyway, now that I have wasted a good seven minutes doing this I guess that I need to get off of here and go to bed because I don't have anything else to yap about.

Well I was going to title this the 17th but I realized that it just switched over to midnight the moment that I started it so I guess that won't work.  Anyway... I suck. 

No seriously, don't argue, I suck.  I haven't again posted in almost a month on here and I just don't even know what is going on with me anymore.  I always am thinking, "Oh, I should totally post a blog post, but then I don't."  Seriously though I really just need to get it together because I have no excuse for why I don't post more often.  I mean I do work and go to class and spend time with my boyfriend a lot but I did that at the beginning of this year and I still managed to post a lot more than I do anymore and I am working maybe a couple hours more again but still... not an excuse for why I suck so hard.

The major event for the last two weeks though was totally the concert that I went to.  I really meant to talk about it before almost two weeks later (three days shy - well two now that it is midnight... whatever) Anyway, I went to a The Used concert who played along with Taking Back Sunday and FrnkIero AndThe Cellabration (no that is not a typo, that is seriously how it is spelled, I had to copy and paste to make sure I did it correctly). 

Just so everyone knows this concert was fucking spectacular.  I seriously have been on a Taking Back Sunday binge ever since it was over and I was on one probably for a good month before.  I fall asleep and/or wake up with a Taking Back Sunday song stuck in my head and since the concert have dreamt about going to another one and I don't know, lately they have taken top spot over top of Panic! At The Disco which I didn't think that I ever in my entire life would say because I thought for a fact that Panic! was going to be my favorite forever but they are having to fight hard for that spot with Taking Back Sunday now. 

I went with my friend Hannah, who is something that I really never spoke to much before this year and I am so glad that we are friends now because this girl and I are almost identical.  We like the same music, we have the same taste in almost everything. We both love food, the other understands and doesn't judge when we are judging someone else for anything.  It helps that we have at least one class with each other every single day but still it's awesome.  I am so glad to call her one of my friends.  Anyway we left right after my class on Monday the sixth and went basically straight there.  We were down in the pit area which was nice but also there was a lot of shoving and gargantuan staff member decided he had to stand in front of us for most of The Used's set but still it was a spectacular experience and I would kill to go to another The Used or especially another Taking Back Sunday concert.  Plus, to end the night right we went to Steak N' Shake afterward and who can beat that.

Anyway, I would post pictures with this but they are all on my phone and I don't want to have to e-mail myself tonight and then download and then put them here... sounds like a whole lot of work to me that I don't feel like doing at 12:10 at night, because I am a bum.

This weekend everyone that I talk to basically has gone home.  It is a three day weekend with it being fall break but I have a big kid job so I don't get to go home and the only day that I get free is Monday, but hey at least there is no class! Tomorrow I don't have to work until five though and it's not at my regular store so I decided that I am going to take myself out on a date (since Brendan went home too) and I will just spend some quality time with myself.  I think I am going to Panera and maybe going to treat myself to buying a new CD, movie, shirt, or something tomorrow because dude why not I think that I deserve it when I work so hard the rest of my time...

I really don't know what else there is to talk about I only have really be working and going to class besides that concert.  I have a lot of upcoming stuff to get done for photography class, I finished my half semester class with a 97% which is awesome, I am still holding all my A's so I am proud of myself for all of that.  I guess that since I have nothing better to babble on about then I will give a quote and then probably get myself to bed.

Oh my gosh it has almost been a month since my last post.  I apologize blog, I have been neglecting you with work and school and friends and boyfriend and everything I just don't know what has happened.  I really don't even feel like I have been all that busy I just don't ever really think about typing a blog post anymore there always seems to be something else that I have got to go and do which is why its been almost a month.

So much happens in a month that I don't even know what to talk about so I will just talk about some random things that are going on in my life.

Today was a lovely day, I got up around 8:30 or so and then I rode the exercise bike while I was typing my paper for my leadership class that is due tomorrow because I was a slacker and I have been putting it off.  I made an outline last night and then typed the paper out this morning.  It only had to be a page to a page and a half so I don't feel too bad about putting it off because I think I might be doing more work than some people in that class will have done.  Anyway then I have three classes today and then after that I met my best friend ever Chad to go out to eat.  I haven't seen him for almost three months (I looked back at some older blog posts it will be three months on Wednesday).  It seems ridiculous that I have one of the best friendships with someone who is now almost always seventeen hours away from me, it's not cool!

Anyway we went out to TGI Friday's to eat, where he didn't let me pay as usual which happens always because he is awesome and is just an amazing friend.  Brendan calls him my second boyfriend, not because its anything that goes on between us it is just because we are such good friends and we talk every single day.  Don't think anything worse than that because the name from Brendan is just a joke that kind of has stuck now because he is my best friend and he does treat me like an awesome friend.  Anyway, I LOVE BRENDAN... so don't forget that reading this! :P

Then we wandered around the mall before heading back to the town we met in to part our separate ways and head home about four hours later.  It is always nice to see him because no matter what happens and no matter how far away from me he is I know that I can talk to him about anything that arises in my life and its the same for him so catching up when he is home is always a good thing.

Anyway other things going on in my life:

• I have A's in all of my classes right now! GO ME! I mean none of my classes are too difficult but I did get A's on all the first tests that I had which made me feel really good about myself. 
• I am going to see Taking Back Sunday and The Used two weeks from today with my friend Hannah! 
• I am working lots as usual, full time student working between seventeen and twenty-four hours. 
• I am now down 9.4 pounds. I have 8.6 pounds before I get down to my goal weight, but I am getting there! 

I really don't know what else is going on in my life that is really that exciting, I am sure there is something but since I haven't been doing much with my blog I am really forgetful!
