Well, I know I said that I would be going on a hiatus, but it turns out that after fiddling around with my computer some I believe that I am able to use it. I haven't had anything else come up on it again and nothing is found when scans have been run so that is an absolute plus. I am still taking it home tomorrow so that my mom can take a look at it but I think it is fine. I am at least going to type up the post about yesterday and today, I think that will be alright.
Anyway yesterday was definitely an awesome day after I had fallen asleep at like two in the morning for some reason I ended up waking up at eight. I wandered around in the house for a minute and sat down on the couch only to realize that I was still unbelievably tired o I went back to be and slept until like 9:45. Once I finally dragged my happy butt out of bed I folded all of my laundry (amazing right?) and got dressed... because one of my best friends was coming!!!
After folding all my laundry and getting dressed I actually went outside while I was waiting for Chad to get here. I even encountered a fight between a female cardinal and a squirrel. It was a pretty intense thing and I am pretty sure that the cardinal won because the squirrel took off across the yard after finally getting off the trunk of the tree. I actually got a few pictures of the squirrel while he was hanging out on the tree trunk trying to escape from the cardinal after they moved out of the top of the tree.
Chad got here around 11:30 or so (after driving past my house once before realizing where it was, even though I was sitting on the front porch - he claims he didn't see me and couldn't see the tree because of the sign because of a tree) and we didn't plan on heading to lunch until about 12 or 12:15 so until then I just showed him around the not so exciting house we have here. We also looked at some yearbooks from the years that we graduated high school and talked about some of the people we knew and where other people where before heading out to go get sushi.
Now sushi is something that Chad and I have spoken about many times before but never have been able to go get. I mean it is difficult to do so when he lives almost eighteen hours away from me and I never get to see him, and the last time that we met was on a Sunday and the place is closed on Sundays. Anyway I fumbled around with my chopsticks as usually (actually worse than usual) when I was eating salad and I feel like Chad was silently making fun of me but that's fine. He got the roll named Rainbow and I got the Yummy, though these names mean nothing to anyone who has never seen the menu for this place but that's alright because I just love the names.
When the check came he picked it up which caused me to ask what he was doing and him replying that he was paying for it (which I still don't think that he needed to do even though he said he had money, but I knew better than to argue because I knew that it would be no good at all to even try.) We talked a little bit more - I stole his water because I had drank all mine and he had Pepsi too so I didn't care. He made a joke about that was not nice and how our lips have never touched before so I couldn't do that and I just rolled my eyes and drank his water and then we left when we both finished our drinks. We ended up at Petsmart just because we could, and we looked at all the little reptiles, birds, rodents, and kitties! There was even a turtle, I want a turtle he was so cute!
Anyway, we headed back to Fayette after that, well after having to wait in the car for like ten minutes because stupid people can park worth crap and we couldn't get could because of them so we had to wait around until they left to escape and then we just went back to the house. We connected my phone to the YouTube on our smart TV so that we could find and play videos the stupid thing wouldn't let us play from the TV itself. I will admit that I am always amused by the videos that he shows me because absolutely no one else knows them and I wouldn't find them on my own. Also, he was pleased by some of Hank Green's jokes in four minutes videos that he has which made me happy.
Right before he left he criticized that our syrup says 'pancake' syrup not maple syrup, and how we couldn't use it on waffles because that would be INSANE (whatever Chad!) and then he left after imitating how a squirrel runs when we were outside and I was talking about the fight I'd seen earlier. We shared a nice hug before he left since who knows how long it will be before we see each other again. We will talk to each other every single day but physically seeing each other is a completely different story seeing as there was a six month gap almost between this time and last.
I didn't really do anything after that but I am definitely proud to call him one of my best friends and I hope that never changes. I really don't know what I would do without him because he is such an amazing friend and the conversations that we have never cease to amaze me and I love him to death for always being here and I will always be here for him too.
Then today I didn't do anything except for sat around the house and watched Netflix until I went to my work meeting at three until four. Then Sara and I ran to Wal-Mart really quick and then came back to chill around until I went to work again at 6:30 to close. It was a somewhat stressful night and for some freaking reason it was even hotter than normal tonight and I was about to sweat to death by the time that I got to go home. I was so glad to take a shower and now I am watching Lovely Molly on Netflix before going to bed. I hope that it doesn't make it difficult for me to sleep because it is a scary movie and I am watching it alone... I guess we will have to see.
I am back with a quote again today since I am back on my computer!
