August 27, 2014;

So, I know its been a while since I last posted anything on here.  Though that is because I have just been busy.  I started picking up a few more hours at work these last few weeks and also my first week of classes of my sophomore year started on the eighteenth of this month.  So now that I am getting back into the groove of both having class every single day and not being able to sleep until noon and also working between 20 and 25 hours a week it is easier for me to post. 

I have three classes every single day until half way through semester and then my Tuesday and Thursday drops down to only two once my Leadership class is done. Anyway, I also have already become better friends with a couple of people and have spent a lot of time with Brendan which is nice again - he is actually working on some homework right now.

I am loving that I have three different psychology classes because I love both of the teachers that I have and I also love my sociology professor because he is absolutely hilarious.  I even have decided this semester to join Psychology Club this year which I think is going to be good for me to be about more people that are involved in my major as well.  I know a lot of the people that I have in there already as well which is cool.  We even had a barbeque tonight out at one of the psychology professors house and it was really nice to get to know more people that I didn't know already, plus it was awesome to not have to make food, eat Subway or pay for the food that wasn't Subway and it was really good burgers along with chips, homemade salsa, more chips, ice cream and brownies.  I am pretty sure that I went over on calories for the day, oops!

Speaking of calories, I have been working on losing weight since back in July when I started using an app on my phone to track my calories as well as to track my exercise.  Since then I have lost 6.2 pounds and I am actually really really proud of myself.  I have a little under 12 pounds left to go before I reach my goal weight but I already feel much better.  I walk to campus from my house every day and I don't feel quite as out of shape as I usually do which actually feels really awesome.

I even usually only pin food pins on my Pinterest that aren't going to be that bad for me. I made a Baked Chicken Parmesan the other day because Chicken Parm is one of Brendan's favorites and this was a healthier version.  It was really really good and it is definitely one that I am going to try again - and also one that I need to write about on my other blog as well. 

Anyway, I am slowly getting back in the swing of things and I am glad.  I think it is going to be a good semester and hopefully you only hear good things from me from now on!
